Are you taking time out to take care of yourself ~ body, mind and spirit?

I’ve got an important question for you today:

Are you taking time out to take care of yourself ~ body, mind and spirit?

This can be such a difficult thing for so many of us (at least on a consistent basis)! It’s something that I’ve had to work at.

Take today, for example: I had planned on getting to the gym at some point this morning to use the treadmill. The morning was flying by with things that had to be handled, leaving me with more tasks needing to get done. I almost blew off going to the gym ~ but I stopped and remembered my intention of giving my physical body a little more attention and TLC.

So, I’m writing this to you from the gym after finishing my workout. I’ve gotten a lovely Mediterranean salad from the gym’s cafe and am sitting in the patio by the pool. There’s some soft rock music piped in out here, a gentle breeze blowing, and a fire pit at my feet as I enjoy my lunch and write this newsletter. It feels so relaxing and nourishing; like I’m away on vacation! I’m so glad I didn’t listen to that taskmaster part of me who wanted me to stay chained to my desk the entire day!

So, I encourage you to find simple ways to “refill your cup” ~ especially if you’ve been experiencing challenges recently, like so many of us have. Take a moment right now to jot down a few ideas. Consider different things that will replenish and rejuvenate your body, or your mind, or your spirit, so you’ve got ideas for each area.
