Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we are feeling the beginnings of Autumn. Where I live in northern California, the mornings are chilly and the afternoons warm. The Autumn Equinox is almost here. This is the time when we start feeling the natural urge to slow our pace down. This is the time when we naturally bring things more into balance, as this is the time when day and night are of equal length. Autumn is the time of “harvesting, and planning what is needed for the upcoming winter”.
Just as we are moving into the time of spending more time indoors, it is a perfect time to spend some time going inward within ourselves. It’s a wonderful time to take stock of our “inner harvest”.
You might want to honor this (and yourself) by spending some quite time acknowledging the harvest that you are grateful for (what you have achieved, your spiritual connection, the experiences you’ve had, the challenges you’ve overcome, the love and kindness you’ve received from others, etc.). Then explore what you need for the upcoming winter. Perhaps it’s incorporating more balance and self-care into your life. Perhaps it’s getting back to a project. Connect with your Inner Wise One ~ your Inner Priestess ~ and see what she suggests; then take inspired action steps towards that.
Enjoy!
