New Moon Three Words

Today is the first New Moon of 2013. This particular New Moon is a powerful time to look at how you would like your year to be. At the start of the year, some people come up with New Year’s resolutions; some people choose goals; some choose intentions; and some come up with specific words to be the theme for the year.

This morning I chose to spend some time sitting quietly with my thoughts and my inner Spirit (instead of marching right into my office and getting straight to work). I wanted this to be the way I set the tone on this New Moon day. I lit a candle, put on some music, and called my angels to me, to intentionally set that time as sacred space.

I spent some of the time choosing my three words for this year’s theme words. I chose: Balance, Receive, and Flow. These words feel so good to my Soul! I’ve worked hard this past year and I want to remember to keep Balance. Also, I want to consciously open myself up to receiving all the goodness that is available to me (and to all of us) in this abundant Universe. And there is so much grace and ease when we step into Flow. Ahhh…I’m loving my three words. And I love the feel of the image I picked to make a graphic of my three words.

I also spent some time with the 2013 Create Your Incredible Year workbook and calendar by Leonie Dawson to begin consciously co-creating my year with Spirit. What a perfect way on this perfect New Moon day to start consciously creating Balance, Receptivity, and Flow in my life! Here’s a photo of a few of the pages so you can see how fun it looks!

I invite and encourage you to spend some time (even just a few moments) to close your eyes, connect with your heart, and set a beautiful intention to send up to the heavens during this start of the New Year. Perhaps you will find your perfect three words. And let the Moon help you set this in motion.
